This ring is more beautiful than you imagine! It's heavy and a beautiful silver setting. It catches light and sparkles and glows!!its my avourite buy so far from TSC. I think I definitely will buy more Elizabeth Grant Diamonelle.

Beautiful Ring!

This is a beautiful ring when you see it - I don't think that the picture on the TSC site does it justice. Even though it is a translucent stone,it glows with colour. The quality of the piece is excellent and the setting is substantial.
I am very pleased with this purchase.

wish I had gotten a good one

I would have loved to have kept this ring. I've been looking for an opal ring for a long time, but the big glob of glue under the stone was visible from every angle, and it didn't look good. I sadly returned it. If it hadn't been for this flaw, it would have been a beautiful ring.

Jeweller said very poor quality opal!

All Star Reviewer

Eve from Moose Jaw, I think I was sent the ring you returned to the Shopping Channel!

Within 45 minutes of opening the package and seeing the huge blob of glue holding the "opal" in place, I had gone across the street to show it to a jeweller with 45 years experience, written my comments on the order form, re-packaged it and dropped it off at the Post Office for return to the Shopping Channel.

The jeweller told me that it was a very poor quality opal. I had asked him to remove the opal from the setting and clean off the glue and put the stone back in the setting. He told me that this would cost me a minimum of $175.00 plus tax as he would have to completely re-build the claws - the reason why the glue is there is because the claws are not sufficiently substantial to hold the opal in place without glue. The jeweller told me he did not want to "steal" from me and that I should just return the ring.

Has Elizabeth Grant actually seen this ring? I find it hard to believe that she puts her name and reputation to something like this and intend to email her personally about this disaster of a ring.
