The only reason why I am writing this review is to do the justice to the ring.I am very sorry that the previous reviewer is so disappointed with the purchase, but here is my input about the ring. The ring is very dominant. It feels and looks almost medieval. The craftsmanship is impeccable as it is expected from Generations 1912. The stone is deep rich dark red garnet, which you really enjoy when you wear it outside. Despite of the fact that the ring is big, it sits on your finger very well and comfortable. In conclusion, I have only one word to describe the ring: majestic.Thank you Bob. For the 1912 line and for the quality. I call my jewelry from you my Titanic collection and I love to wear it.

Soooo disappointed in this purchase. The band is very thin and dull. The garnet is such poor quality. It is a muddy brownish red.No clarity, and so flawed. It also had three small chips on the surface.2nd purchase from this line nd definitely my last. The garnet almost looked like a cloudy Smokey quartz???
