Sometimes the simplest design packs the most powerful punch. That is certainly true for this sterling silver ring from Jade of Yesteryear. This admirable piece features a sleek green jade stone smartly set within 30 cubic zirconias.

Clouds in general have served as the transport vehicle for those up in the heavens, according to popular Chinese belief. Clouds are often referred to as being the symbol of "celestial mobility". The use of clouds for the purpose of transport up in the skies has been part of many Chinese legends about their gods and other immortal creatures. There is, however, another meaning that the deception of clouds takes on. According to popular Chinese belief they are taken as a symbol of good luck. The natural evolution of this concept is related to the clouds bringing rain that would benefit growth of crops for farmers. Being an agricultural country throughout history, China was heavily dependent on rainfall for the successful survival of its people and thus clouds were naturally considered to be bringers of good news.

Gorgeous!

A very nice ring, good quality. It is very big (wider than my finger) but I like bold pieces. It doesn't have under gallery, and it runs a little big - I usually order 7 or 8 but this one is a 6 and it is not snuggle.
