Really delicious juice
Just used this juicer to make juice for my lunch today after working out on elliptical. Used one carrot, one apple, one stalk of celery, a thin slice of ginger and couple sprigs of parsley. Yummy! Still sipping on it as a write this review. This juice I make from this is awesome and better than I've made from other juicers (love a mix of mineapple, orange and pink grapefruit at breakfast). I'd give this product five stars, except for a few issues I've had. First of all, as others have noted above, anything that is fibrous (celery/apple peel/pineapple spears, etc.) tends to clog the small exit chute. The tip I have to to cut these fruits and vegetables in small pieces, across the grain of the fibre. I don't have any problems with clogging when I do this. Before that, I used to take a long-handled parfait spoon to poke out the fibres while making the juice.Second problem is assembly/disassembly. I find the auger is darned hard to get into position and usually takes me two or three attempts. I don't think my wife could even do it.Third of course of clean-up. All juicers are annoying to clean in my opinion, and this one is no exception. I can't rate it worse than any other... just a bothersome thing to have to do. One way I save time is to set it on a piece of newspaper (yes, I still actually subscribe to a home delivery), and don't bother with the plastic catcher. The pulp just spills onto the paper, and I wrap it up and toss it into the green bin. Also, I don't use the plastic cup for the juice... I just place a round glass under the juice chute, and then just drink right from it.Refreshing!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

the best ever
I love love this juicer I use it every day I find it a lot easier to clean than any other juicer I have had.I do cut up my carrots into large strips & the only thing I find may clog the machine is celery. I find when cleaning pulling the black tab back is a great help & the water tends to run right through!putting back together is a snap no problem. I don't know if Life Juicer has thought about this but my dogs love the pulp & wait for me to finish juicing so they can have a little "brick" each the rest they get in their meal at night!!A great product
I was most hopeful this would be what I was looking for beet juicing; but, it was so fussy to function. I got one juice out of it, cleaned it, re-assembled it, and then it just wouldn't power on. I checked the assembly and it looked just fine; but, I had no luck getting it to power on. I also felt it wasted too much product and took too much time to get results. It was a nice looking unit; that's all I can say on a positive note. I'm going to rely on my beautiful TSC purchased Blendtec for juices instead.

I have to return this item. Absolutely everything makes the unit "stick"; then it jams up and you cannot get the juice or the pulp out. It seems that the pulp ejection area is too small and/or just not effective. Too much of a nuisance to use and not worth the trouble.
Continually plugs up.
After I wrote the previous review my daughter said the vegetable fibre is cramming up inside and this juicer has become frustrating to use, it has to be continually taken apart to unplug the inside workings. Not happy - too late to return.

Sent to my very "good health conscious", Nutritionist daughter as a gift and she loves it - easy to use, clean and said the performance is like no other - top rate, and she has had a few different juicers, even though she is in her twenties. Pulp is dry as in the video. Highly recommend!

This juicer accepts decent sized pieces of fruits and vegetables (1/4 lemon or whole garden carrot, pickling cucumber etc). It's not very loud and clean-up is the simplest I've seen but reassembling will take some practice. The pulp is easy to clean up as it's fairly dry. (I got 1 cup of juice out of two lemons)
Wish I had returned it

I was undecided, spent too much time, and now can't return it. My bad. I do love the juice it makes, but because of the terrible time cleaning it, I hardly ever use it, and would be better off buying juices from reputable source. There are many where I live. I am still annoyed that the demos and advertising did not prove to be truthful.

I like the texture of the juices - feels like I'm getting all the goodness from the fruit or veggie.Hate the cleaning - time consuming, and very difficult and frustrating for arthritic hands to disassemble. Disappointed in the recipes. I purchased it mainly due to demos of cherry juice, with the pits, and almond milk. Neither recipe is in the book. To-day I'm going to try the same ingredients in my VitaMix, which I adore, and the Life Juicer. The results will determine if I keep it.
