Just the ticket for a senior living alone

By Big Mac

from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Have made turkey stew (best I ever made), corn chowder, Tomato Palau and a miriad of other dishes. Each time I use the Pressure Cooker I made three or four meals so I plate one and freeze the rest. In three short weeks I have put enough frozen meals in the freezer for an entire month. Great savings on my hydro bill too. Best and most useful and versatile small appliance I've purchased in three decades. WOW! Thank you PPC LX. P.S. I need more recipes - how about a 300 page cookbook.

Not too happy

By Momma B

I have only used it once, and I'm still trying to clean it. I cooked ribs and the sauce has burnt to the bottom of the pot. I have been soaking it for 2 days and now I'm scrubbing it in the insane hope it will come clean. It may be going back, complete with burned on sauce.

This is amazing

I have had my pressure cooker now for a full two weeks...love it love it love it...I have made some of the best recipes in 15 minutes. It is easy to clean and to use. I have used it too cook my meals everyday. I plan to buy my daughter one as soon as it shows up again as a show stopper. The large container makes a huge amount and so I am sending left overs home to my friends, so I can cook something else.

Nice and fast but............

By Clowney

Made excellent chicken soup in record time by comparison to old methods, but the first time I released the steam it took off the white arrow and the white valve lock and white steam release indicator marks which to me are pretty darn important especially for a beginner! Come on now there must be a way to mark these things with something that will not rub off on the first use,off to the craft store for some paint to redo this myself! I had hoped that it would be different as the same thing happened with another name brand one sold by a famous chef.

Excellent Pressure Cooker Love it

By Berta

from British Columbia

I have had this pressure cooker for approximately 2 months now and have used it daily. I cook just about whatever i want in it and it comes out excellent. Personally I would recommend this to my family and friends. However there are other pressure cookers out there that try to outdo Wolfgang puck pressure cooker and i for one would not recommend any other pressure cooker.

Great item - easy to use - handy for great meals! One issue!

By JC Price

Bronze Reviewer

This is a great item and prepares fast wonderful meals. My only criticism is that the pressure valve markers (indicators) to show whether or not the valve is in the seal position or the release steam position and the arrow to align the valve washed off after the first use. It should be more durable. The machine still function great though as long as I position the valve correctly in the absence of the painted on symbols which washed off with ordinary dish soap in handwashing. This could pose an issue for some.

Easy to use - fast and efficient. I am quite happy with this purchase. I will be likely to use it often for varied dishes. I purchased another as a gift after liking the initial purchase for myself.

I am very impressed with this product, love it

By Dr Bert

from British Columbia

I used this to cook a beef stew the normally takes me 4-5 hours to cook and this time it only took me only 2 hours and to top it off i didn't even have to mix a gravy mix as it was all done within the pot. Amazing product. My next cooking project it an Italian Sausage casserole that normally will take me about 5-6 hours to slow cook, i am anxious to see if this will cook in half the time. still love my cooker

By loves tsc

from moncton nb

Helpful Reviewer

have used the cooker [pressurized] 7 or 8 times and still love it .....however , ...the recipes I have used from the cookbook all needed to be adjusted , usually all I needed to do was add about 1/2 cup water to the ingredients .....otherwise , the food burns and sticks. The best thing I have made was a boiled dinner using a bone-in ham slice , potatoes, carrots , turnip , onions and cabbage wedges....with chicken broth . It was soooo yummy !

my new one works great !

By loves tsc

Helpful Reviewer

I wrote a review earlier based on the pressure cooker that I received that did not work.....well , I received my new one ...and cooked the frozen chicken and pasta from the cook book...I had to add 1/2 cup of water and 10 min. extra cooking time , because I used 3 very large [bone-in ]chicken breasts instead of the 4 small ones in the recipe. It turned out great ! Love my new cooker ! Thanks, TSC
