Best purchase , live in northern Ontario and it has
taken care of all the snow which is more that usual
this season. Husband loves it and so do I as I am not afraid of it like I am with our huge gas snowblower so I can help him with the snow removal

Great Product.

my new favorite toy!!

Its a snow day in Winnipeg.!! Schools are closed and it is a blizzard. I was out at 6:30 Am and cleared 4 inches of wet snow (it is -1) from my triple car 100 foot driveway. This machine blew snow about 10 feet, not 20 like the promo says, but the snow is wetter than normal. After I was done I put the battery back on the charger and 3 hours later the 2 green lights tell me it has a full charge and I am about to go out for the second time to take off another 4 or 5 inches. I have not used the cord yet, only the battery and I think I will buy another battery because I want to plow the lane beside my garage as well. The machine is light weight and i carried it up to my front porch where it sits now. It clears the snow well and leaves a slight amount (layer) of snow on the driveway , which is good for those with interlocking bricks. I had some trouble starting it until I saw that the starter button for the battery is on the inside of the handle and the starter button for the electric cord is on the outside of the handle. I have to take my gloves off the use the button which is no problem. I also found that it is better to keep the machine running rather than let it turn off while I walk to another area, (which I started to do and found that it sometimes doesn't start right away when I start/stop it multiple times in a row like that. I guess my only complaint would be that I should have bought one a little but larger but I do love this machine and as a single woman in my 50s I like being able to look after my own snow. In the past I have paid $165 a month for snow removal so this is a big savings and a lot of peace of mind.

Can be used by almost anyone.

Bought the cordless model when it was a showstopper. If you are patient you can go through almost anything including hard packed snow. I cannot shovel because of arthritis but I could push this. (I have 1 good hand). Even if it took several passes I eventually got through. It didn't through the snow very far but far enough.

be careful of the purchase

By Isabelle

It isn't strong enough to throw the snow further than 5 feet or less. It jams easily too. It is okay for removing a slight snowfall but is basically a disappointment. Should have gone for something stronger.

Not for most regions in Canada

This machine seems well constructed. But as far as blowing snow when the amount of snow fallen is over 6cms it is completely useless. It will not blow snow farther than five feet to either side. Battery lift is quit good.
But if you are purchasing this make sure you are in an area where snow fall does not exceed over 6 cos.
It is certainly not meant for Atlantic Canada were 6 cos is a dusting.
I give it a two stars for it over all construction but haw it would standup to long term use I am not sure sent it back after one use.

A major disappointment.

I had really high hopes for this machine. Received it in time for a major snowstorm. If anything it caused me more effort and work. We did have a whopper of a storm. I purchased the 21" cordless model. It totally sank in the eight or nine inches of snow we had. Due to it being so lightweight. Had to pull it out and almost drag it or pick it up, out of the deep snow. Battery seems to work well. It would be great for light, powder snow and not a lot of it. As for any type of packed, heavy snow, just forget it. No dice. Nada.

Not for West Coast Snow either

By Disappointed in Coquitlam

I purchased this product in the cordless model because I didn't want the weight or the hassle of a gas snow blower. But this was not strong enough to push snow that is more than 4 inches high. And as the other reviewer mentioned, it doesn't throw the snow any higher than 5 ft high if the snow is wet. We get quite a bit of snow where we are. We are in what people call a snow belt so we have a lot of snow (30 cm) sometimes and it is heavy and wet. This product did not handle the job. So if you have light fluffy snow then this could be for you. Disappointed, Back to good old fashioned hand shovelling.
