1992 Proof Set in Custom Mahogany Finish Case

The Proof set is the highest quality coin set struck by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1992.  
The coins in this set are "Proof" quality, the finest coins minted.  They are all double struck coins produced from specially prepared dies.  The fields (that is, the flat background areas on the coins) have a bright deep mirror finish, while the design and portrait of the Queen have a white frosted finish.  This extremely attractive effect is sometimes referred to as a "cameo proof", and can only be obtained in the Proof Sets.

All six denominations from the one cent to the one dollar are included in this set.  The fifty cent coin features the Canadian Coat-of-arms.  

This high quality coin set comes presented in a custom mahogany finish display case.
