Product Overview
Prior to joining confederation in 1949, Newfoundland issued its own banknotes, including five different denominations from 1901 to 1909. Both issued notes and original specimens in this set remain extremely rare and are seldom encountered in the marketplace. This 1904 five-piece set is one of only a handful of complete sets known and is likely the highest quality set in existence. Each note is graded by the leading third party grading service PMG (Paper Money Guarantee Corp).
