very deceiving

By Lorraine

I thought I would be buying a "barefoot" shoe .. something like a vibram shoe
When I received it, I was very disappointed to find that the sole was hard ... They describe the shoe as " like going barefoot" ... but in reality it is nothing like going barefoot.
They are rigig and not very comfortable.
I thought that with the hard sole .. I could use them when riding my bike. They certainly look better than my old sneakers.
The first time I wore them, I found that the right shoe was really comfortable, and the hard sole very well suited for pedaling a bike. Unfortunately the left shoe. proved to be really, really uncomfortable, and by the time I made it back home I had quite a raw spot on the top of my toes.
I tried wearing the shoes with and without socks. It does not matter, the left shoe just isn't comfortable .
I did give these shoes a fair trial .. I really wanted these shoes to work out for me. Unfortunately i could not return them or exchage them and they are now sitting on the garbage pile somewhere. I am just really, really glad that I did not pay full price for them.

Needs a little stretch.

Returned the original pair that I bought because they were too tight. Ordered a 2nd pair mostlly because I still think they're cute (and the new price). Kept them on a shoe tree for a few days and it made a difference. I don't like clunky shoes for working out and that's the only time I ever wear them.
Would recommend a least a half size larger.

Tony Little is the Best!

By SC Addict

I think TL is a true entrepreneur with some of the best and affordable ideas around. His shoes - these Mary Janes - and the runners really do lengthen your calves and have an affect on your lower back giving it a chance to release tight muscles. I know, I'm a movement specialist and work with people and their gait every day. They are a complement to your shoe collection. I have the running shoes, the slip on running shoes, and now the Mary Janes. Oh, yea, check out his Easy Shaper if you haven't already.

My favourite shoes

By M

from Ottawa

I walk my dog every day in summer and always wear these shoes. So comfortable and stylish and durable. People ask me where I got them. I bought my second pair in black this time and know I will be wearing then on vacation this winter too. I was surprised of the support my feet have as well. Good value for sure. Love Tony Little's personality and products. I'm a fan.

The shoes are cute, but unconfortable. I do not recomend them to people with any functional problem (e.g., who tend to pronate your feet), because these tend to worsen the problem. The sole is not like the original's barefoot brand, softer, and more flexible. These are hard and the sole's shape not particularily good. Need improvement. Bought them when they were launched, bad investment.

Great But

By Marianne

Comfortable after breaking in period. Personally I think I should have ordered half size up. Or maybe the straps are not long enough. I think its the latter as Tony's shoes always fit me so well. I hope he brings them back. I would order more and if he makes the strap a .5 inch longer it would be a perfect casual shoe for me. There is some arch support in this shoe also that I like. Not like an orthotic but enough that your feet don't go flat. Good job on the new style!!!

Stretch with feet that swell; allow me some fashion, despite my inability to wear heels, and just look 'cute.' I have been able to wear these all day, with stress to my feet. Love them, and am thankful I ordered several pair of these. With problem knees, RA and what ever else I deal with, I like to know that my feet can be 'cute' and comfortable.

When I want the barfoot feel these are g

By Cat

I am unable to go barefoot due to foot issues. When I want that barefoot feeling I just put these on and I do not end up with sore feet later. They are very comfortable and I am glad I got a size bigger. I previously purchased an 8, my size, but they were too tight. The 9 fits wonderfully!

They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. True to the sizes. Couldn't ask for anything better!

cute, but hurts your feet

I love Tony Little products, but had to return this item. The shoe dug into the top of my foot and hurt when I walked. If you have a high arch, I don't recommend this particular shoe.
