Victorinox Swiss Army

Victorinox Swiss Army at TSC

It was 1884 that Karl Elsener began a cutler’s workshop in Switzerland, where many people were still poor. Part of the shop’s purpose was to combat this, creating jobs and reducing unemployment. By keeping as many people sustainable as possible, it prevented that much more emigration from the Schwyz Basin where the shop was located. He was good at his craft, though, and his products were quality. In 1891 he supplied the Swiss Army with their solder’s knife for the first time. Soon he developed other types of knives, all of which grew in popularity. This effectively created the foundation for a company that would eventually become iconic. Today, Victorinox Swiss Army operates in five categories, household/professional knives, travel gear, watches, fragrances, and of course, the legendary Swiss Army knife. The Swiss army knife is still their core product and it’s what inspired many of their other categories. Every single product within every single category is designed expertly and created with the highest possible standards. This is how they’ve become a leader in Switzerland and beyond. The quality is premium and their functionality is unmatched. Their knives last many years and their travel gear takes all the wear and tear of their most adventurous globe-trotting customers without even breaking a sweat. Their fragrance collections are vast and beautiful and their watches are superior with a style to suit anyone’s preference. Their continued success and thousands of glowing reviews and happy customers are the perfect testaments to this.
