Return Policy

What items are eligible for return and exchanges?

We want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you don't, we're happy to accept your return within 30 days of the date you received the item. We will provide you with a full refund of the item's purchase price, less applicable return shipping charges. We do not refund original shipping costs.

To qualify for a refund, your returned item must be received at TSC within 30 days of receipt, in the original packaging, with all parts and in the same condition as you initially received it.

Certain items may be subject to additional restrictions on return/exchange as noted on the tag, packing slip or posted online. Items received by us that are ineligible for return and items received after the allowable return period will not be processed and may be returned to you at your cost.

Restrictions

Health and Beauty and other consumable products can be returned only after reasonable trial. For example, empty jars or bottles will not be accepted as a returned item.

Fashion and Jewellery items may be tried on for size and fit only, and must not otherwise be worn. We do not accept fashion returns if the item was initially shipped with a "Do Not Remove" large plastic tag and the tag has been removed.

Music, Movie & Software returns are processed for unopened products only! You may have inputted certain personal information in items purchased from TSC such as computers, laptops, tablets and other technology products. Ensure that you have removed any personal information from an item before returning it to TSC. This may require you to complete a master reset or remove any passcodes or account locks from the device. TSC disclaims any and all liability for any items that are returned containing personal information.

Last Chance Items

All "Last Chance Price Final Sale" clearance items are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges of any items sold as "Last Chance Price Final Sale". These items will be clearly noted as such on your Order Summary.

Refunds

Please allow at least 15 business days from the date you place the package in the mail for us to process your refund. Typically your refund will be processed in the same form of payment originally used for your purchase, however in some cases your refund may be processed in the form of a cheque. You can check the status of your account at tsc.ca/MyAccount.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your purchase for the same item in a different size or colour, please contact our Customer Care Centre at 1-888-2020-888 within 30 days of receiving the item to make arrangements for exchanges – exchanges are not permitted after 30 days. Items must be in the original packaging, with all parts and in the same condition as you initially received it. Items received by us that are ineligible for exchange, and items received after the allowable exchange period, will not be processed and may be returned to you at your cost.

If you would like to return an item because we made an error, return shipping charges will be waived. You may return it in accordance with our return policy and then call Customer Care at 1-888-2020-888.

How do I return an item to TSC?

Simply use the Easy Return Canada Post shipping label included with your order, and TSC's return shipping charges will be conveniently deducted from your refund. See below for amounts. Send it to the address on the return shipping label. See below for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can make your own arrangements with Canada Post or a courier company using their shipping label, and pay the shipper directly upfront. COD deliveries will not be accepted. Send it to the following address:

How long will it take to process a refund?

What is the cost to return an item?

Standard return shipping charges apply to return items to TSC unless the item was damaged or broken or the wrong item was delivered.

Return shipping fees are based upon the item's shipping weight which is usually the same as the item's actual weight, unless the item and packaging is large or bulky, in which case an additional premium is added. For large or bulky items, typically 1 cubic foot is equivalent to 10 lbs shipping weight.

How do I prepare an item for return shipping?

Returning an item is simple using our "Easy Return" Canada Post label. Please keep your tracking number in a safe place for all product returns and exchanges – your return package cannot be tracked without this number.

Just follow these steps:

  1. 1. Locate the Easy Return Canada Post shipping label included with your order, or print one from our website at tsc.ca/EasyReturns. Write your name, address and order number on the label in the area provided. When you use the Easy Return Canada Post shipping label, TSC's discounted Canada Post return shipping charges will be conveniently deducted from your refund amount.

    Please note that Easy Return labels come in one of three formats:

    • Adhesive back provided with all telephone orders processed through our National Distribution Centre. Simply peel off the backing and affix the entire label to the package being returned. Be certain to peel off and keep the tracking number embedded within the larger Easy Return label for your future reference.
    • Non-Adhesive back provided with orders that are shipped to you directly from one of our vendors. Cut along the dotted line to separate the top, bar-coded portion of the label and affix it with tape to the package being returned. Keep the bottom portion of the label with the tracking number for your future reference.
    • Online Printable Label. If an Easy Return shipping label was not included with your order, or if you have misplaced it, you can click here to print a new label. Simply click on Print an Easy Return Canada Post Label. Cut along the dotted line to separate the top, bar-coded portion of the label and affix it with tape to the package being returned. Keep the bottom portion of the label with the tracking number for your future reference. If you do not have a printer, or are otherwise unable to print an Easy Return shipping label for yourself, please call us at 1-888-2020-888 and we will gladly mail one to you. Each label you print from our website contains a unique Canada Post tracking number, so please be certain to print a new label every time you return a package. If you photocopy, or save and re-print the same label to use on a different package, Canada Post will be unable to track it.
  2. Peel off the returns bar code label from the front of the Order Summary and affix it to the outside of the package to help us quickly identify your order. Repack the item(s) you are returning to us in the original packaging and include the original or photocopy of the Order Summary. If there are several items on your Order Summary, please highlight the items you are returning. If your return contains items from more than one order, please enclose each Order Summary. Do not combine jewellery and non-jewellery items in the same return. They need to be shipped and processed separately.

  3. Peel and stick the Easy Return Canada Post shipping label to the package over the original shipping label.

What if I don't have an Easy Return Canada Post shipping label?

If an Easy Return shipping label was not included with your order, or if you have misplaced it, you can click here to print a new label. Simply click on Print an Easy Return Canada Post Label. Cut along the dotted line to separate the top, bar-coded portion of the label and affix it with tape to the package being returned. Keep the bottom portion of the label with the tracking number for your future reference. If you do not have a printer, or are otherwise unable to print an Easy Return shipping label for yourself, please call us at 1-888-2020-888 and we will gladly mail one to you. What if I'm unable to return an item myself because it's too large?

If you're unable to return a heavy or large item yourself, please call us at 1-888-2020-888 and we will arrange a pick-up and return of your purchase. This applies to large items such as fitness equipment, big screen televisions, etc.

Can I return an item in person?

We do not accept in-person returns.
