Beautiful ring

By Val

from Keswick, Ontario

I love this ring.
The stone is gorgeous. Big but not to big.
The etching on the shank is lovely and the under gallery ensures it sits nicely.
I have worn it twice and been complimented twice.
Nice that Bob does rings in silver so they are affordable.

cheap looking

Silver Reviewer

I'm on my own but generations has done better work I'm guessing but this is the second ring I've bought and will send back. This is my opinion but it doesn't look or sound like silver. I accidently dropped it and me and my mate said it sounded more like tin. The stone is beautiful, it's the setting that bothers me. also there is no way the amount of silver that is claimed. It bothers me, I was hoping for a stunning ring but I got the opposite.

Better and better

I ordered both colors, one in white gold and one in yellow gold and when they arrived I decided to keep them both. The longer I own them the happier I am to own both colors. The size, shape, style, workmanship and stone quality is just tremendous and they are rings for the years to come. Every time I put one on I feel like I am wearing a work of art. Thank you generation 1912, I love everything about your line. I am happy you are creating pieces in sterling silver as the weight and under gallery is so nice. I also purchased a few of your Diamonelle pieces and I love them as well. You bring us affordable pieces we would otherwise not be able to afford so thank you thank you.

Once again , gorgeous! I love all the detailed work, it's what draws me to the Generations 1912 line. With the great workmanship comes this deep purple stone . Great ring and great company . I love it !

Beautiful, beautifu.!

By DONJE

from HALIFAX

I ordered 2 of these rings, one in rhodium plate and one in gold plate - returned the rhodium plate. I haven't liked Bob's gold plate on previous pieces as I found it looked too fake. His new gold plating is perfect - it matches all my other Generation 1912 14K pieces perfectly. I own over 75 pieces of Bob's jewellery. His line is definitely my favorite. The first item I purchased from TSC was a ring from this collection and that was 10 years ago. Never miss a show and when the whole collection was all gold pieces I had difficulty limiting my purchase to one or two items. I am a yellow gold person so since everyone is doing sterling plated in gold these days I haven't been buying much. This new plating that Bob is using just might change my buying habits. It is truly a much better plating than anyone is using and so perfectly matches 14k pieces that one may already have. Don't forget that before gold prices went through the roof the most common gold found in North America was 14K not 18K like in Europe so why jewellers are using horrible, gaudy looking 18K plating is a mystery to me. It doesn't even look like real 18K when placed beside a real piece. I digress. Bob thanks for changing your plating, thanks for years of such beautiful pieces and Happy 100th!

Pretty Nice

By CoryGirl

from Edmonton, Alberta

It is a very pretty piece and the stone has good colouring but on the stone there were slight flaws. It is very bold and the detailing is only something that can be done by Generations 1912.

beautiful ring

The colour of the amethyst is rich and the milgrain work is typical of the Generation 1912's standard. It's a large ring so I went a size up, found it more comfortable.

beautiful ring but ....,

By sheilla

from Calgary, AB

Gold Reviewer

This ring lost its rating for two reasons. First the amethyst lacked the richest in colour one would expect from a fine piece as this; second, the plating of the gold, looked cheap. I also purchased the matching pendent (both in gold) and it too warrants the same comments. It would be interesting to see, if the amethyst looks better in the rhodium plating. Alas both to be returned :( However, the value of the ring, was very generous. Thank you indeed for that.

Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!

By Cheryl

All Star Reviewer

Just received my ring this morning. I am so impressed with it. The picture doesn't do it any justice. It looks far better in real life. I can't stop looking at it. I only wish it came in size 5, as I need to have it sized. Other than that, it's perfect. Another Generations 1912 to add to my collection. I love the silver rings as they're more affordable. Keep them coming!!
