Wonderfully soft and comfortable
I ordered this half mukluk in the chocolate in a size 6 because I either was not fast enough to obtain one in a size 5 or TSC did not bring it in in a size 5. I know that the vendor repeatedly says to order down a size in the mukluks, but I found that the sizing from pair to pair is not consistent. I had ordered a black half mukluk in a size 6 when Manitobah first came to TSC. I knew they would be probably too big but I was willing to take the chance because everything was sold out so quickly. When they arrived, yes they were beautiful and yes they were too big. Even with a pair of socks they were loose. But I kept them anyway because they were so soft and they were beautifully made. I should mention that these had the vibram sole. The current half mukluk I ordered from TSC in a size 6 has the crepe sole. I'm not sure if the crepe sole makes a difference in the sizing, but I found this pair of size 6 to fit more true to size. They fit much better. I'm not sure if I would agree to go down a size in ordering mukluks because I find the length of the mukluks in size 6 were true to size, it was the width that was the issue. That was what made the first pair feel sooooo large. I hope I didn't confuse the issue more, but that was my experience. I will continue to order my regular size 6 in the mukluks in the future, because I feel the the right length is more important, I don't want my toes to be right up against the front of the mukluk.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love these Mukluks, they are so warm and comfy. I would order a size smaller, I ordered my regular shoe size and they are too big.
Warm as toast

I really love my mukluks. they're very warm , even when I wear them without socks. T hey look great with the real fur and bead work. I wear them everywhere. They are easy to put on and off. My only complaint is, we were told to order 1 size smaller than our normal size. Now I have to wear very thin socks. I would advise you to buy your normal size. Better to be too big than too small.
Still love these half Mukluks
This is my third review on these because I had an issue with the sewing on the sole to the body of the shoe.I never heard back from Manitobah Mukluks on my warranty but I found an amazing shoemaker in Hamilton that could sew up my mukluks as well as offering help in the maintence to keep them healthy.TSC was kind enough to give me a discount on my defective product and even though I had to absorb some cost I am pleased.Manitobah has informed me that this mukluk is not continued. I still recommend this great product and hope that anyone who likes it can find it in their size.
The charcoal pair is beautiful
from Winnipeg, Manitoba
The charcoal pair are gorgeous. What some don't know is that you can wear crepe soles outside but they will wear down faster. I wore mine all winter last year and they are still in great condition to wear again outdoors this winter. I will order a brown pair to wear inside too. Super comfy and stylish. I love mukluks. Order a size down though. The first pair I ordered were my actual size and they were huge.

I still love these Mukluks but on the second day of wearing them indoors on carpet and hardwood the sewing unravelled around one boot where the crepe sole meets the shoe.Because I love them and can't replace the size and colour I am being patient about the situation presented to me from TSC and from the company. I took the boot to my shoemaker who is wonderful and he told me that the it was an error in the sewing-the threads didn't 'catch' properly. He is retiring and has sold the machine that can fix it.So far I am waiting to hear from Manitobah about fixing the boot (two days and no answer). With TSC it is either return them for a refund or get them fixed myself with a reduced price.Just letting everyone know that you will have to chase down Manitobah Mukluks yourself for repairs when buying from TSC.I would still recommend the brand but with caution regarding warranties both with Manitobah and with TSC.
Can't take them off
These arrived this afternoon and I am so in love with them. They are in charcoal with the beautiful black, grey and white beadwork and with the soft grey fur.At first I wore them with cotton socks in case they didn't fit and when I found how comfortable and perfect they felt, I now wear them without socks. What a luxurious sensation. My floors are cold in the winter months and these are just the right remedy for me.Once again Manitobah Mukluks rock!
